Let’s start this Wargaming Week, covering the 11th through to the 17th of February.
NEWS
Spectre have continued to show off more of their photos from V2. This latest batch includes some really cool combinations of figures, ideal for inspiring your next game.
In addition to more photos, Spectre has also been talking about some of the rule changes, beginning with Suppression. This was something I found a bit of bugbear as I played and when I got to test V2 the changes basically dragged me back into the game. I’m planning an indepth look at the changes once V2 is released so keep an eye on the blog!
PURCHASES
No purchases, been busy with other things so haven’t had time to crack on with what I’ve been wanting to do.
HOBBY
Project WW2 rumble on as I finally assembled the Churchill I got as a present for Christmas. Building plastic kits are really fun, a nice change from the resin. And now having made it, I’m really tempted to get two more to build a full squadron. More photos coming in a project intro post that I’m working on for this week.
If you’ve read my Spectre Rare Model post, you may recognise this figure as the first dog handler released on the Spectre store just after it’s initial launch. This, for a very long time, was my white whale figure. I didn’t pick him up when he was available (I didn’t need any more dogs) and then regretted it ever since.
However, thanks to a very kind fellow hobbyist, I finally have him in my hand. I’m really looking forward to getting him painted up and adding him to the collection of operators ready for the table.
That’s it for this update, expect more updates next week!
